A Real Life Villain

We hate the villains in our books.  President Snow for forcing children to kill each other.  Valentine Morgenstern for expecting people to side with him or die.  Voldemort for waging war just to make sure he is the most powerful.  But they are safely chained to the pages in our books, created only by stringing together black print letters.

Then this YouTube video came across my dashboard and it struck me he was all of our worst nightmares put together together.  Kidnapping children to fight for him — or else they die. Forcing them into his army for no other reason than to continue his reign of power.  His name is Joseph Kony, and the children of Africa live the horrors we get to stuff back on our bookshelves. The only way to get them noticed is to spread the word.  Send this video to your family and friends.  Post it on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest.

We respect the heros and heroines for standing up to these monsters. Now we have a chance to help fight our own.
